This quote from Ram Dass arrived in my inbox today -

‘The world is perfect exactly as it is – including our desire to change it.’

On looking it up, I discovered they’d slightly misquoted.

His actual words were -

‘The world is perfect as it is – including my desire to change it.’

I actually prefer the edited version.


Although that feels a bit sacrilegious in some ways - I somehow don’t think Ram Dass would care.


As I type that he appears beside me - I don’t see him just feel his Energetic Presence - he is laughing.

Not just laughing. Guffawing. Literally bellowing his laugh aloud.


I wish it was a laugh my ears could hear.

I’m sure it would be contagious.


Anyway, in a moment I will get to whatever I am going to say.

For now, Ram Dass, the Ram Dass, is gracing me with a Message for us -

He says -


Dear Beloved Ones - no scrap all that s**t.

Hey dudes, how’s it all going?

What’s up in the Earth Plane these days?

I kind of miss it there - but so much DELIGHT to be had here.


You know what, I think I lived my life pretty well.

Be in the now. BE HERE NOW. Live in the Moment. And all that.

But BOY do I wish I’d leaned into more delight, more fun, more JOY!!!


That is all there really is, my lovely Earth-Beings.

that perfectly encapsulate the precarious tight-rope-walker-kind-of-mastery that we need to Embody if we desire to Align with our Highest Expression; Embody our Highest JOY.


I get it Ram Dass - I truly do.

Of course our desire to change the world is perfect.


We are Creator Beings on a journey in Physical of Constant Evolution.

We came here to Experience OurSelves in the Act of Creation.

We came here to Experience OurSelves in the Act of Being Created.

We came here to Experience OurSelves as Creator and Created both.

We came here to Experience OurSelves in the Act of Being Created Anew by our Choices in each Moment.


The desire to Create - to EVOLVE - is woven into the very fabric of Who We Are.

Creator-State Consciousness is Who We Are in Essence - the Act of Creation as Innate to our Being as Earth’s impulse to travel round the Sun.

It is natural, it is good, it is BEAUTIFUL - It Is ALIGNED WITH DIVINE WILL - That We Desire To CHANGE + EVOLVE.


Yet that is only one aspect of who we are - we also came here to REVEL in the DELIGHTS of PHYSICAL.

Anytime we become too ‘forward-focused,’ we miss the BEAUTY + JOY of the Now.

As Ram Dass (one among many) taught us - the key to our happiness lies in the Embodiment of -


BE HERE NOW.

Embodying this, we discover the heart-opening miracle of love that we are in all our aspects, all our faces -

the flower seductively opening to the sun

the hand gently reaching out to give support - clasping another hand

the baby laughing in sheer joy as her father jiggles her on his knees.


As we live in these Present Moments - we discover -

In Each Moment -

‘The world is perfect exactly as it is.’

Perfect.

As Is.

Where the rubber really hits the road is when we master the art of simultaneously embodying Perfect Acceptance & Perfect Appreciation of What Is - at the Same Time as Receiving the Desire for & Vision of - & Actively Stepping Into the Co-Creation of -the Next Highest Evolution of our Being -

Activating Divine Self as we - Consciously - Step Into Glorious Magnificent Co-Creation with All That Is.

There is of course a whole nother level of mastery -

when we begin to see All as Aligned with Divine Will & see the World - however it is presenting - as ‘perfect exactly as it is.’

Seeing -

Understanding -

KNOWING -


Everything is FOR US.

Whatever it looks like in the Moment.

Seeing -

Understanding -

KNOWING -

Everything is a gift from our Soul Supporting Us in our Next Highest Evolution.

Now THAT is Divine Mastery.


I know I’m still far off that place -

(though I find it much easier to get there retrospectively).

But it’s okay.

Ram Dass is still sitting beside me -
